How to find a cognitive therapist

So a psychiatrist recommends a patient that he/she should see a cognitive therapist, but don’t know of a cognitive therapist close to where the patient lives and where to find one?

The Academy of Cognitive Therapy (www.academyofct.org) is an organization that certifies cognitive therapists and its website allows anyone to search for a cognitive therapist by location.
